Photo: Girl At Beach

This one was harder. I had a couple ideas but did not execute. I did have this shot - I really like the sunlight in my daughter's hair when we were at the beach. Maybe a bit of a stretch for the theme, but...

...not long after the first picture she cut off her hair and donated it for children suffering from cancer. Very noble. But I do miss that long hair. Credit for the second picture goes to my wife.

This suits the theme perfectly. She has lovely hair. Happy weekend.

Stunning photo!! I love her long hair.

Wow! What a great thing that she did. It is a great shot of the sun in her hair. It's neat that you got a picture of her braid.

It's a lovely photo. The sunshine brings glow to your daughter's hair. I think you are blessed with a generous and kind hearted daughter. Donating her hair will help many children suffering from cancer.

That is noble, but I would miss it, too. I love the elements in that first picture -- the sunlight, the bit of wind blowing her hair. Truly a lovely shot.

I love the first photo. Thanks for sharing that one. And please thank your daughter for her donation. I'm sure it made a lucky persons day. BTW - She's beautiful :)

Lovely daughter, lovely hair, lovely gesture. Great for the theme.

My photo is posted . .. it will make you laugh.

How corageous and brave to have her hair cut for kids suffering from cancer! My friends sister just had hers donated to Locks Of Love, a cancer group. Great photos and great choice! My photo is up, please come and visit

These photos are wonderful, and perfect for todays theme. I like her hair long. :o)

Drop by my lair
to see my hair,
With time to spare,
others will be there.

That is a wonderful project. She must be very proud of herself. That is fantastic. And it's really beautiful hair.

I don't think it's a stretch for the theme at all. It's a lovely picture too, and so is the second - not for merely visual reasons. Don't forget, hair grows again!

Great photos. The top photo is excellent.

What a lovely young lady, and a good example of giving to others.
Happy Hunting!

I just love her haircut! It's perfect for the shape of her face. Same with my dd. She tried to grow hers out and it just didn't work with her face. The bob looks so much better and gets her compliments too!

My daughter did the same last year. Now she is trying to grow it out long again for her college graduation. Great pictures!

My daughter also did this for her birthday. i thinks it's wonderful they want to help others.

I still remember when I decided it was time to cut my braids too!! Glad she has joy in holding up her braids! Fun Years.

The top photo is beautiful! How wonderful of your daughter to donate her hair. My mom has always wanted to donate her hair to "Locks of Love" but has never been able to grow it long enough!

What a generous spirit your daughter has. I can't imagine my own children even contemplating such a thing. What a fine girl you and your wife have raised :-)

She had beautiful long hair! But I admire that noble gesture of your daughter to have donated her hair.

Happy week ahead!

Love the long locks! My daughter just donated hers to Locks of Love, too.
